Pfarrkirche zum hl. Valentin
From the small late-Gothic building was only the chancel (altar area) were obtained. 1931/32 in enlarged form, the nave was rebuilt and the tower dates from this period. The neo-Gothic ribbed vault of the nave is distinguished by its simple symmetric structure clearly tense of the asymmetrical arches of the Middle Ages, as we know it from other churches in the Attergaues. Altar with Gothic altar in the fields of modern vault secco painting (1952) by Charles Weiser, on the sidewalls of the late Gothic statues of St. Sebastian (left) and Valentin (right), probably from the school of Lienhart Astl. The Mondsichlmadonna (but probably Gothic baroque revised) is of unknown provenance.Open all year
