In the centre of the Vöcklabruck district - the "gateway to the Salzkammergut" - near Weyregg am Attersee lies the region's local mountain, a delightful little ski world with a total of 3 lifts, the Wachtberg.

But you can also just take a winter hike up the Wachtberg, or simply enjoy a breath of fresh air on the house wall at Gasthof Wachtberg Sonne, enjoy a coffee or tea and watch the fun on the piste.

The Wachtberg is the ideal place in winter - whether you're looking for sport or prefer to take it easy!

Coming via Bad Ischl through the Weißenbachtal valley on the B152 via Steinbach to Weyregg
Bahn:
From Salzburg or Linz/Vienna to Attnang-Puchheim or Vöcklabruck. Linz/Vienna to Attnang-Puchheim or Vöcklabruck and continue with bus no. 562 to Weyregg
