The Lake Fuschl, situated at the entry to the Salzkammergut, 20 km east of the city of Salzburg, reaches over an area of 267 ha between Hof bei Salzburg and Fuschl am See. The deepest point is 70 meter, the mean depth 30 meter. The shores
are mostly natural and have remained in an unspoilt, natural state.
