- Last snowfall: 18.02.2017
- Cross-country ski trails (in km) (Classic / Skating): 14km / 6km
Our cross country ski trail is 20 km long; 6 km of which passes through the beautiful Koppenwinkl Nature Reserve and the dried out Koppenwinkl lake. The trail can be joined in many different places, and there are ample parking places. You can also join the trail close to Obertraun-Dachstein railway station. Stop off at one of the many traditional inns you pass along the way. Last year, we were able to buy some new machinery to keep the trail in top condition. We are now able to develop a 10km skating trail too! River crossings have been widened to make way for the new machinery. There is no charge, as ever, to use our cross country trails!
A complimentary plan off the trails is available from Obertraun Tourist Information (06131/351), or from any of the other offices in the Inner Salzkammergut.
