Description: The Iglmoosalm is closed in the winter months until the beginning of June
June only open from Friday to Sunday and public holidays.

At the alpine pasture Iglmoos you can enjoy a wonderful view to the Dachstein and the Gosaukamm!

Welcome to the mountain pasture Iglmoosalm

In about 1.5 hours you can reach the cosy hut "Iglmoosalm" and enjoy cool drinks and snacks on the sunny terrace. The hut is also known for its delicious homemade pastries. You have a wonderful view of the Dachstein and the Gosaukamm. You can reach the hut either on foot or by mountain bike.

We are only open for you in summer.

The Iglmoosalm can be reached from the Ramsau district of Gosau on hiking trail no. 880 or from Pass Gschütt Straße via hiking trail no. 224.

By car
from Salzburg:
Highway exit Golling - Abtenau, Rußbach, Gosau
Gosau: after the Pass Gschütt junction, turn left onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 700 m turn left into the Schloßpark parking lot.

From Linz:
Regau highway exit - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau
Gosau: opposite the Cafe Gosinger turn right into the parking lot Schloßpark.

From Vienna/Graz:
Liezen highway exit onto B320, in Trautenfels turn onto Salzkammergut Straße B145 to Bad Aussee, continue on B145 towards Bad Goisern, take the B166 ramp to Golling/Gosau/Obertraun/Hallstatt/Bad Goisern-Süd, turn right at the Gosaumühle junction towards Gosau
Gosau: opposite the Cafe Gosinger turn right into the parking lot Schloßpark.

From Villach:
Tauernautobahn to exit "Eben im Pongau", via B166 Pass Gschütt Bundesstraße to Gosau
Gosau: opposite the Cafe Gosinger turn right into the parking lot Schloßpark.

By train
Route Attnang-Puchheim - Stainach-Irdning
Arrival by train in "Steeg / Gosau" then continue by bus 541 in the direction of Gosaumühle, change to bus 542 in the direction of Lake Gosau

By bus (Sundays irregular):
Bus 470 (Abtenau - Gosau) direction Gosau, bus stop Gosau Abzw. Pass Gschütt
change to bus 542 direction Gosaumühle, get off at the bus stop "Gosau Ramsau B166" and you will reach the hiking trail on the left.

Bus 542 (Gosaumühle - Gosausee) Bus stop: Gosau Klaushof, Gosau Bärnausiedlung, Gosau Ressenbachweg, Gosau Vordertal B166, Gosau Ramsau B166
