Different stages and variants

Glittering lakes, an infinitely rich mountain world, cosy alpine huts and breathtaking panoramas await you.

The 370-kilometer long Salzkammergut BergeSeen Trail presents the beauty of the Salzkammergut on a silver platter in 23 daily stages.

The additional alpine variants and regional sections leave room for tour planning, according to the individual taste of each "hiking enthusiast".

Most of the stages end in places with the best tourist infrastructure and good overnight accommodation, but some routes also lead to alpine huts that guarantee mountain romance.

The trail connects no less than 35 lakes on trails marked with the logo of the Salzkammergut BergeSeen Trail - this is probably unique in the world of long-distance hiking trails.
