The Salzkammergut Tourismus-Marketing GmbH was founded in July 2002. It serves as province-crossing holding organisation for the eight regions of the Salzkammergut, one of the biggest tourist regions in Austria. The essential tasks of the Salzkammergut Tourismus-Marketing GmbH include typical consulting services, destination development and strategic positioning of the brand Salzkammergut as all-year destination. Besides of the described services for the listed partners, the STMG also heads and looks after different advisory and research projects for different clients.
