The Welser Hütte

The Welser Hütte is located not far from the Postalm guesthouse and the Obweg country house - on a slight hill; from here you can enjoy the view over the Postalm panorama!

At any time of year and in any weather, the Welser Hütte invites you to linger - whether outside on the terrace or inside in the parlour - whether rest or hut fun.....

The Welser Hütte offers accommodation in 5 multi-bed rooms (4 - 12 beds) each with shower & WC; max. overnight capacity 45 people;
particularly suitable for families, company and youth groups; thanks to the neighbouring Landhaus Obweg (self-catering apartments), groups of up to 70 people can also be accommodated and catered for.

The Postalm is the largest alpine pasture area & high plateau in Austria!
Numerous hiking trails, mountain bike routes and also ski tours in winter start directly from the Welser Hütte; you can also strap on your skis right outside the front door - and off you go on the piste!

Deckchairs and the cosy terrace offer the opportunity to enjoy the sun in peace and quiet in both summer and winter or to relax and discover culinary delights with friends!

In winter you can enjoy ice skating, curling, tobogganing and Zipfelbob (with lighting also possible in the evening).
