With foresight and respect for their homeland, Monika and Wolfgang Gröller reopened their Hotel Post in the summer of 2024. 21 additional rooms, a separate floor for shared culinary experiences, a contemporary bar, a rooftop mountain spa and an infinity pool prove their courage to do things differently. The architectural teams arkan zeytinogolu architects & Hinterwirth have breathed new life into the 700-year-old building.

An entire floor for foodies: the Belétage at the Hotel Post am See combines regional roots with big-city flair. Casual dining without fixed times and without conventions: tradition meets French chic, fish lovers meet vegetarians, and 700 years of history meet a young, urban lifestyle. Whether breakfast on the veranda with a view of the lake, using the working space in the poetry room, catching a glimpse of culinary insights in the open wood-fired kitchen, celebrating in the salon, a private dinner in the separate dining room, or a get-together in the social wine bar – the Belétage offers many favourite places. Another food hotspot at the Hotel Post am See is the Poststube 1327, where chef Stefan Griessler and his team celebrate modern interpretations of traditional tavern cuisine. Top chef Lukas Nagl is responsible for the cuisine at all of the Gröller family's restaurants.
