Freeriding in the Salzkammergut

Infinite freedom in winter: Untouched slopes, perfect snow. A pleasure for skiers. The top priority, of course, is your own safety. Good equipment, including avalanche transceivers, is indispensable. And those who don't know the terrain should - for their own safety - rely on experienced guides who not only know the best routes, the perfect powder and the coolest descents, but also the dangers in high alpine terrain.

Freeriding at Krippenstein

The paradise for these powder delights is called Krippenstein. It's no accident that the Krippenstein has developed into a real hotspot in the freerider scene: the finest runs and cliff drops, a high-alpine playground in the middle of a breathtaking panorama - this is where off-slope dreams come true. The large 60-person gondola takes you quickly up to 2,100m above sea level to the impressive plateau of the Dachstein massif. There are 30 kilometres of deep-snow variants awaiting you away from the groomed slopes, which of course also exist on the Krippenstein.

A diversity that is second to none. Perfect conditions for freeriders on skis or boards, pure pleasure at an altitude of 1500 metres, from the ridges to the lower forests. Challenge and pleasure for every off-piste freak.
