Carneval in the Salzkammergut

In the Salzkammergut region, the carnival season ranges from the Fetzenumzug parade in Ebensee, where carnival is celebrated as a ‘bank holiday’, to the Faschingsgaudi in Bad Ischl and the traditional customs in Ausseerland and numerous parades, events and balls during the carnival days in February.
