With two consecutive solo shows in summer 2026, Galerie 422 invites you to discover contemporary art in all its diversity and spatial presence.

From the end of June, Galerie 422 will be presenting works by Christian Eisenberger that move between painting, sculpture and land art and emerge from an intensive examination of material, chance and experimental processes. For years, Eisenberger has been one of the defining positions of a younger generation of contemporary Austrian art. He first became known for his socially critical figures made of cardboard, which appeared in public spaces and deliberately caused irritation. In his more recent works, his gaze is increasingly directed towards nature: temporary settings deal with questions about being human, about space and about the tense relationship between nature and civilization.
