Roman Herbst presents his latest paintings in a solo exhibition. The artist works with digital art, and his works are displayed in printed form and digitally on screen.

The vernissage will take place on Thursday, 20 November 2025, at 6:30 p.m. Opening by Mayor Johann Mitterlehner. Admission free.

The paintings will be on display until December 19, 2025.

"My works are created on the computer using a stylus. I paint and draw very quickly, schematically, and impulsively. Sometimes I place photos underneath that I haven't looked at for six months and paint and draw my emotions over them. Memories are pieced together fragmentarily in series of six. Every now and then, they can also have a film-like effect."

The pictures can be viewed when the Kulturvilla is open, provided no events are taking place in the public rooms.

The Kulturvilla is usually open on weekdays (working days) from 9:00 a.m. to approx. 4:00 p.m. (office hours) – subject to change, there may be exceptions. Room occupancy can be viewed here: https://www.kulturvilla.at/ and then click on the blue “Raumbuchung” button to see when the rooms are available. Individual visits to the exhibition do not need to be entered in the room booking calendar.
