Opening reception: Wednesday, October 15, 2025, 7:00 p.m.
To mark the 100th birthday of Upper Austrian sculptor Josef Moser, the commemorative exhibition “Eternal Forms” is being held at the K-Hof Kammerhof Museum in Gmunden. Josef Moser was a long-standing member of the artists' guild – now known as the Salzkammergut Art Forum. The Moser family and the Kunstforum Salzkammergut are honoring the life's work of an artist whose creations have inspired and moved generations. “Eternal Forms” is more than a retrospective; it is a tribute to a visionary artist and his tireless pursuit of expression and the harmonious interplay of form, material, and space. All visitors are invited to be inspired by the power of his works and to celebrate the legacy of Josef Moser with us. To accompany the exhibition, a posthumous edition of original etchings “Zwei Mädchenköpfe” (Two Girls' Heads) will be published in a numbered edition of 50, printed by E. Moser on tinted Fabriano Bütte paper. Josef Moser worked on the copper plates but never had them printed during his lifetime. One of the two plates is signed by the artist in the lower right corner. The prints will be available for purchase at a special price at the opening. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)Rinnholzplatz 8, 4810 Gmunden
