traditional handicraft market -
Art instead of clutter
With around 120 exhibitors, the Martinimarkt Steinerkirchen is one of the most traditional and largest arts and crafts markets in Austria. In 2025 the market will take place for the 43rd time.
The old village square with the more than 100-year-old school and the inner courtyard of the Benedictine monastery give the market its special flair. Simply ideal for the first small Christmas purchases.
The identity of the people of Steinerkirch with this event is enormous, as around 380 volunteers help make it a success!
Dates: Sat. 8th (9 a.m. - 6 p.m.) and Sun. 9th November 2024 (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.)
In the supporting program there are handicrafts with demonstrations and musical contributions to admire. Homemade punch and culinary regional delicacies don't leave the palate short either.
