Come and visit the pre-Christmas evening services with candlelight and music in the small catholic church in St. Agatha near Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt.
Every year towards Christmas time, these contemplative evening services take place in a cozy atmosphere in the St. Agatha branch church - located south-east of the Goiserer Valley.
From Advent until Candlemas, you can also view the illuminated, lovingly designed Goiserer landscape nativity scene by the Goiserer Krippenbauverein in the vestibule of the small church.
The small, late Gothic branch church, built around 1395, with its onion-shaped tower is famous for its high altar. It is built on grotto and sandstone and was embellished with the Calvary scene around 1712.
