The family-run guesthouse "Waldruhe" is located between Grundlsee and Bad Aussee directly on the banks of the Traun river.

It has been exquisitely renovated and furnished with great attention to detail an offers it´s guests the ideal environment to switch of, recharge their batteries and explore the surrounding area.

Stylishly furnished rooms with a feel-good factor and complete hotel facilities await our guests. Each room has a shower, WC, comfortable french beds, specilly made down comforters an down pillows as well as high-quality bathrobes and shower products. In addition to these amenities, you will find a hairdryer, an LCD flat screen TV and fiber optic WLAN in every room.

Your car or motorcycle can be parked in the hotel´s own video monitored parking lot with an electric charging station. A separate bicycle garage is available for bicycles. E-bikes can also be charged at the electric charging station at the hotel.

As guests of our hotel, you can enjoy the advantage of our own swimming pond with sunbathing lawn and the river bathing area in the Traun.

The quiet location on the hiking trail between Grundlsee (fifteen minutes walk) an Bad Aussee (twenty minutes walk) offers an excellent starting point for hiking, mountain and cycling tours in the region.
