Organic farm Pramesberger in the district of Weißenbach in Bad Goisern
Nature lives in harmony on the Pramesberger organic farm :
Cows and goats graze on lush meadows, with old and young fruit trees all around the farm.
Together with his family, Andreas Pramesberger runs the small mountain farm with great passion and vision.
The farm is particularly well-known for its fruit pressing plant and its own distillery .
This is where fresh apple juice, fine schnapps and liqueurs as well as the widely appreciated White River Gin are produced.
For some time now, the farm has also had its own tree nursery.
Fruit trees - from apples to peaches, apricots, plums and pears - are grafted, grown and sold there.
A particular concern is the preservation of old varieties that are hardy and have adapted perfectly to the climate on the edge of the Alps.
The most important asset in agriculture is the soil.
In a natural cycle, the meadows and orchards are nourished with the manure from the animals.
This in turn provides feed for the cows and goats - and valuable food for us humans. By using only organic materials for nutrient recycling, the farm makes an important contribution to the preservation of biodiversity and a healthy cultural landscape.
