The Ausseer Lebkuchen shop in the centre of Bad Aussee has opened its doors exclusively for the sale of gingerbread and pastries.

The handmade pastries are a real treat and enjoy an excellent reputation.

Mass-produced goods and lifeless industrial production - we don't think much of that in Ausseerland. Our original Ausseer gingerbread is still from the old school. Handmade with lots of love, our little treats take you back to the late 16th century, to a time of naturalness and authenticity.

A balanced wholemeal base, rich in valuable nutrients, is the hallmark of our sophisticated craft.

But what would a good base be without the artistic finishing touches?

Refined with loving details and our tradition seal, our gingerbreads from Ausseerland only get their nostalgic charm.
