The Pettenbach Music Association was founded in 1894. In 2016 Ferdinand Hubinger was appointed Kapellmeister.

In summary, the history of the Verein der Musikfreunde Pettenbach up to the end of the Second World War was rather static and traditional. The association adapted itself to the respective historical situation. As a result, however, a continuous upward development set in, in whose self-image from the beginning there was also the will to actively shape the environment. Supported by increasing material prosperity and progress, the music association was able to enter a process of community growth, personal development and musical refinement that has not been disturbed by any serious crisis so far.
