The fire department Keuschen comes from the fire station Teufelmühle, which was first used in 1929.

In 1973, the volunteer fire department Keuschen was founded. Since then she also owns a flag with the image of the patron saint. In the new fire station, which was inaugurated in 2007, is the statue of St. Florian kept. It symbolizes that the saint protects protectively over the comrades.
