The firefighter house in Hof turned out to be too small for all the Gadgets and vehicles so they decided to move elsewhere in the 70s.
In 1974 Josef Pöllmann Senior and Mayor Josef Schafleitner decided to built a new firefighter house. Peter Schneeweiß drew the Pictures of Saint Florian and Saint Koloman, Patron an protector of the Region around the koloman mountain. The firefighter house in Hof was blessed on the 17th of August in 1980.
