The Schoenmuehle already existed in the 17th century and very often changed hands.
There are no records of when the chapel was built. Like the Haftinger chapel, it lies on the former Wallfahrerweg, which led from the west to Mondsee.1).
For the family Fischer-Colbrie it is valuable as part of the home. Currently, the owner Andreas Fischer-Colbrie takes care of the maintenance and care of the sacral monument in Ludwig-Angerer-Gasse.
