A wooden chapel stood about 20 m below the current stand. There were 3 benches. One of them still exists in the house Mondseeblick 32 with Franz Daxinger in the front of the house.
Around 1973, the old chapel, in need of renovation, was replaced by the new chapel at the new location. It has about 30 seats and is an important place of worship for the entire neighborhood.
A picture of Mary and a grotto of Mary decorate the chapel. Above the picture is a large crucifix. Statues of St. Florian and St. Joseph with Jesus can be seen, as well as images of the Cross. The memory of the much too early deceased son of the family is kept high here.
The regular Mayan prayers include the request for good growth of crops and protection against bad weather. Here also begins the annual Bittgang to Radstatt. There will also be a Mass at the Seegruber Chapel in May.
