1. data protection information

Your personal data provided for participation in our Facebook/Instagram sweepstakes will be used by the data protection officer Salzkammergut Tourismus-Marketing GmbH (Salinenplatz 1, 4820 Bad Ischl, info@salzkammergut.at) exclusively for the following purposes: to check the eligibility of participation, to determine a winner and to inform him about the prize.

The winner(s) will be notified by personal message on Facebook/Instagram and, if applicable, publicly announced in connection with the sweepstakes on Facebook/Instagram. For this purpose, we process the following personal data of the participants: user name as well as public Facebook/Instagram profile information, if applicable Facebook/Instagram comments on the sweepstakes.

From winners, we additionally process the following data: Name, address and email address. Your data will not be passed on to third parties. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is your consent to participate under the conditions specified here pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSGVO. The legal basis for communication with the winners is the performance of the contract pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. b DSGVO. There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide the personal data. Failure to provide the data will only result in you not being able to participate in the prize draw. Your data will be stored for the duration of the competition and - for the processing of any claims for winnings and damages - for a maximum of 3 years thereafter and then deleted. In principle, you have the right to information, correction, deletion and restriction and objection to the processing of personal data as well as the right to data portability. Furthermore, you have the right to complain to the supervisory authority: Austrian Data Protection Authority, Wickenburggasse 8-10, AT-1080 Vienna, e-mail: dsb@dsb.gv.at.

2.1 Organizer

The organizer of this sweepstakes is Salzkammergut Tourismus-Marketing GmbH (Salinenplatz 1, 4820 Bad Ischl, info@salzkammergut.at).

This sweepstakes is not connected to Facebook or Instagram and is in no way sponsored, supported or organized by Facebook or Instagram.

2.2 Participation

By entering the Sweepstakes, the entrant agrees to the following terms and conditions of entry:

Participation in this sweepstakes is free of charge.
All Facebook/Instagram users who are at least 18 years old at the time of participation are eligible to participate. Younger persons may also participate with the consent of their parents.
The sweepstakes begins as shown in the sweepstakes post and ends as stated in the post at 6:00 pm on the stated end day.
In case of culpable violation of the conditions of participation, the organizer is entitled to exclude the participant with immediate effect.

2.3 Winnings and prize determination

The prize is as stated in the competition entry. The winner will be drawn by lot within the two weeks following the end of the participation period and contacted within 1 week via email/social media contact.

The right to win is not transferable. A cash payment, change or exchange of the prize is excluded. All operating, incidental and consequential costs incurred in connection with the prize or its receipt or use shall be borne by the participant. The prize will be sent to the winner.

2.4 Cancellation and modification of the competition

The organizer is entitled to cancel the competition without prior notice and without delay for good cause. The competition may also be discontinued due to force majeure or other legal reasons.

2.5 Miscellaneous

Should individual provisions of the terms and conditions of participation be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a provision that is appropriate in the individual case and most closely reflects the purpose of the invalid provision.
