Herb hike in summer
On June 24, 2026, Monika, an expert in traditional herbal knowledge and naturopathy, will take you on a fascinating herb hike with a view of Lake Attersee. On this relaxed summer hike, you will realize how much grows right on your doorstep - inconspicuous, delicious, full of enrichment for the kitchen and free everyday medicine!
During the hike, Monika will tell you- how to safely recognize, collect and use wild herbs yourself
- how you can use herbs creatively in the kitchen, including recipes
- how to make St. John's wort oil, tinctures and herbal vinegars
- tips on drying, storing and further use of medicinal plants
This hike is ideal for you if you want to learn more about local wild herbs and expand your knowledge of medicinal plants. Discovering them together is also great fun with family or good friends.
Of course, there is plenty of time for personal questions, tips and exciting stories, so that you are sure to go home with practical approaches and inspiration.
