The cozy hike takes you over the high plateau of the Tauplitzalm. Above the Steirersees is the viewpoint Steirersee-Bankerl. The view is impressive. The calm water lies clear before you, and the surrounding landscape enhances this special moment.
In the idyllic surroundings, you can enjoy your own snack directly under the trees in the meadow or at one of the numerous benches.
A ten-minute descent to the Steirersee huts is also possible, where a stop at the Trawenghütte or Almrauschhütte for a mountain snack is available.
