ski shuttle bus to the family ski resort Kasberg in the Almtal

The Kasberg winter shuttle bus will bring you to the snow in the ski resort Kasberg for free!

The shuttlebus is brought to you by the ski resort Kasberg, the tourist board Traunsee-Almtal Salzkammergut and the municipalities of Grünau im Almtal, Scharnstein, St. Konrad, Kirchham and Laakirchen.

The OÖVV skibus service (Lines 533,534) is also available for skiers from Gmunden and Gschwandt!!

The new timetable for the season 2023/2024 has arrived! 

In cooperation with "Fröch Reisen" the Kasberg winter shuttle will bring you comfortably from your local host in the southern Almtal valley and from Laakirchen, Kirchham, St. Konrad, Scharnstein and Grünau im Almtal to the basestation of the Kasberg ski resort. This service is also for the local inhabitants for free.

Additionally, the buses from the "the "OÖVV Upper Austrian public transportation service and "Sabtours" are serving the line to and from Gmunden to the Kasberg Ski Resort. Also this line is free for skiers.

The ski bus is free of charge!
When the ski area is open, the Kasberg Winter Shuttle runs and takes you to the ski area and back again. If the ski area is not open, the ski bus does not run. Connections with the Almtalbahn or Traunsee Tram according to OÖVV tariffs or with Klimaticket Österreich and Klimaticket Oberösterreich.

There are also connections to the Almtalbahn (ÖBB) trains in Grünau im Almtal station to and from Wels and Linz!
(Changes to the timetable possible due to weather conditions).

For all those who need a day's skiing break:

Take the OÖVV bus line 534 or the Salzkammergut Shuttle Service (from 01.01.2024, formerly Traunstein Taxi) to Cumberland Wildpark or Lake Almsee every half hour! Tariff according to OÖVV or Salzkammergut Shuttle Service! Bus line 534 according the time table.

Salzkammergut Shuttle Service: Call 050 422 422 at least one hour in advance or use the O-Taxi app and take route 60 from Grünau station to the Wildpark or Almsee. This service is not possible if there is an active OÖVV bus connection!
