Calling all skiers out there! Especially those who intend to enjoy some apres-ski too .... there’s a free ski bus!

With the WinterCard into the snow fun

Those of you in possession of a valid guest card from Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt, Gosau at Dachstein, Hallstatt, Obertraun or Bad Ischl can travel by bus to the Ski Region Dachstein West in Gosau, and to the Freesports Arena Dachstein Krippenstein in Obertraun, absolutely free of charge!

How to get to the ski region Dachstein West

• timetable ski bus 541 from Bad Ischl to "Gosausee" (Lake Gosau) and back with the bus 542

How to get to the Freesports Arena Dachstein Krippenstein

• timetable ski bus 541 from Bad Ischl to "Gosausee" (Lake Gosau)
  • change in ski bus 543 in direction "Obertraun Dachsteinseilbahn Talstation" (bottom station of the cable car)
• back: skibus 544 in direction "Steeg-Gosau Bf"
  • change in ski bus 542 from "Gosausee" (Lake Gosau) to Bad Ischl

By the way: The journey to Bad Ischl or Hallstatt (e.g. for a visit to the World Heritage Museum – open in winter too) is completely free to holders of a valid guest card.
Jump on board! The new ski bus timetable is available from the beginning of December in all tourist offices in the Holiday Region Dachstein Salzkammergut, free of charge!
