Waldfest of local brass band of Obertraun

For years, the Obertraun Forest Festival has been a staple on the calendar of events for the Dachstein Salzkammergut vacation region.

Pure brass music— the bubble soccer tournament and lively evening and dance entertainment—that's what awaits you at the Obertraun Forest Festival.--

As it does every year, the Obertraun Local Band organizes the famous Waldfest at the Traunau festival grounds.

The action starts as early as the afternoon:

The second Obertraun Bubble Soccer Tournament is moving into the next round!
Anyone can participate—whether friends, clubs, social groups, or companies. Registration is still open.

There’s a full program of activities for all the little festival-goers:
Pony rides, a bounce house, and the mini-crossbow stand will make sure even the youngest visitors won’t get bored!

In the evening, starting at 6:00 p.m., the traditional pole tent will feature a variety of brass band music, followed by lively dance music starting around 10:00 p.m.

Food and drinks will be available: draft beer, bratwurst, Bosna, and much more.

Admission is free— proceeds will be used to support the local band’s up-and-coming young musicians.
