On 28 and 29 December 2026, Dachstein West in the Salzkammergut will host the Audi FIS Women’s Ski World Cup for the very first time. At the Hornspitz in Gosau, the world’s best female ski racers will compete in two technical events: giant slalom and slalom. The Dachstein West ski region is set to host a World Cup event at the end of December 2026. Precision, speed and nerves of steel will be required when the Women’s Ski World Cup makes its first stop in the region at the Hornspitz in Gosau, featuring the giant slalom and slalom. Between the Dachstein, the Gosaukamm and the Tennengebirge, a new stage for international skiing is thus taking shape.
