Romantic together

Some hidden spots at the Salzkammergut lakes are only reachable by boat.

The most romantic places around Attersee, Fuschlsee, Mondsee and Wolfgangsee can be found off the beaten tracks. Generations of locals and tourists visited those insider places in intimate togetherness with the rowing boat. Always with them, a well filled picnic basket and a bottle of local sparkling wine.
By the years passing those insider places received romantic names like “love island” or “love bay”. With those names, they became even more desirous targets for lovers to spend time together, doing those things lovers will do when alone together.

Today the gentleman must not row his love to love island although he may, but can cruise her by electric boat. When renting an electric boat a free hint where to go is always given by the owners.

The following photo gallery can be navigated with the arrow keys (left, right).

Special tips from the romance-experts:

  • For the sportsman: mystic, exciting and unique is a SUP (Stand Up Paddle) trip during sunrise or sunset to one of our special love nests.
  • For the “will she say YES” guy: at the Mondsee lake everything is prepared. Location, boat, picnic, sparkling wine, ring, flowers… there is only one thing you have to do on your own – asking! If she says “YES” a wedding is up to celebrate.
