200 Years — Grand Anniversary Gala at the Stadl-Paura Equestrian Center

Exactly 200 years to the day, on September 17, 2026, the Stadl-Paura Equestrian Center will celebrate 200 years of horse breeding in Austria

To mark the occasion, the Karl-Bauer-Halle will be transformed into a spectacular venue for a grand anniversary gala that will take visitors on an exciting journey through two centuries of equestrian history.

A varied show program brings the history of the facility to life—from its beginnings as the site of the Imperial and Royal Traunzug Administration and the salt shipping operation, through the era of the Imperial and Royal Stallion Depot, all the way to today’s modern equestrian center. Yet one thing has remained unchanged over the centuries: the tradition and deep connection to horses. The Stadl-Paura Equestrian Center looks back on its history with pride and uniquely combines it with a modern, forward-looking facility.

A Celebration for Everyone
Such a significant anniversary deserves to be celebrated together. With seating for around 700 guests, the Stadl-Paura Equestrian Center invites not only representatives of the equestrian industry but the entire community to the anniversary gala. Former employees, the residents of Stadl-Paura, and the breeding families and riders who have shaped the facility over generations are especially welcome. Whether big or small, young or old—on this special evening, everyone is cordially invited to celebrate 200 years of horse breeding in Austria together.

Free guided tours will be offered before the show program; doors open at 6:00 p.m., and the program begins at 6:30 p.m. The gala will conclude with the blessing and dedication of the anniversary monument.

Tickets for the anniversary gala on September 17 at 6:30 p.m. (doors open at 6:00 p.m.) at the Stadl-Paura Equestrian Center cost 5 euros in advance and 7 euros at the box office on the night of the event, provided tickets are still available. Children 12 and under are admitted free of charge.
