The CorOsAnima - a chamber choir and exquisite instrumental ensemble - joins forces with the young Salzburg vocal ensemble SalCanto to celebrate life: "Laudamus te" - "We praise you" - as sung by Francis of Assisi, who died 800 years ago. One would like to add to his enthusiastic "Canticle of the Sun": "We praise you through and with music, for our sister and friend musica makes life richer, more beautiful, more sensual and sunnier".

We will be performing works whose origins lie halfway between the death of Francis of Assisi and our own day: Hans Leo Hassler: Missa octo vocem, Heinrich Schütz: from the Psalms of David, Johann Hermann Schein: from the wonderful collection "Israelsbrünnlein" as well as instrumental music by Samuel Scheidt, Johann Rosenmüller and Johann Vierdanck.
