For the first time, the traditional costume associations around Lake Wolfgangsee are holding a joint folklore evening on the lakeside promenade in Strobl am Wolfgangsee. Visitors can expect a varied program with traditional dances, dancers and living customs. Of course, there is also plenty of food and drink on offer. This Heimatabend is something very special, as there has never been a joint event of all the traditional costume associations around Lake Wolfgangsee in this form before. Especially at a time when social interaction is becoming increasingly important, this evening is intended to bring people together, strengthen community and make the solidarity within the region visible. Customs and traditions are far more than just the cultivation of old habits - they create identity, convey values and connect generations. The Heimatabend is intended to be a sign of how important cohesion, mutual appreciation and the shared experience of culture and tradition are.
