Water Days - Opening exhibition: The impact of invasive species on aquatic ecology

An interactive exhibition as part of the REGATTA Water Days 2025 is dedicated to the impact of invasive species on our waters.
The exhibition takes place in the Haus der Kultur in St. Georgen.

Accompanying the REGATTA Water Days, an interactive exhibition shows the effects of invasive species on our waters. Photos, display boards, an aquarium and illustrative material are used to clearly explain how introduced animals and plants - such as the quagga mussel, signal crayfish and balsam balsam - affect nature, the economy and society. The aim is to raise awareness for the responsible use of lakes and rivers.
