This year's Mobility Day in Altmünster focuses on cycling. Especially in everyday mobility, bicycles – whether classic, electric, or cargo bikes – are playing an increasingly important role. The municipality of Altmünster is implementing targeted measures to promote cycling, such as infrastructure projects, parking facilities, and awareness campaigns. This year's Mobility Day aims to show how diverse the bicycle offerings are in the local area and what positive effects this mode of transport brings.
On Friday, September 19, the municipality of Altmünster warmly invites you to the marketplace in the center of Altmünster. From 1 PM to 7 PM, exhibitors will present a wide selection of e-cars, e-scooters, as well as bicycles and cargo bikes – many of which will be available for test rides. Additionally, there will be information on modern mobility solutions and innovative concepts related to e-mobility.
A special focus is also on the municipality's offerings: the E-Carsharing Altmünster represents a new mobility option and will be featured on-site. Furthermore, the Climate and Energy Model Region Traunstein will provide information about current projects, including the Energy Community Traunstein, where residents can actively participate in the regional energy transition and benefit from significant financial advantages.
