We repair things together, chat and exchange ideas. In the end, all the appliances are back in shape and we look forward to the next time and a small donation.

Everything that can be carried with two hands and is used for everyday use is repaired.

The title ‘Repair Café’ can be confusing - it is not a coffee house. But to sweeten the waiting time, coffee and cake are still offered by volunteers in our Repair Café.

As all helpers work on a voluntary and non-profit basis, we are very grateful for the premises provided by the municipality. If you would like to join in or help, please contact Heimo Sauer at the Brillenkistl or send an e-mail to tomjones80@gmx.at.

From October 2024, there will be a Repair Café in Pettenbach every 4th Friday of the month from 6 to 8 pm at the former Pettenbach fire station. Exceptions will be announced in good time. This monthly repetition also allows us to carry out a repair in two stages. For example, at the first appointment the fault is found and the spare part is ordered and at the next RepairCafe this is then installed together and everyone is happy about the successful realisation.
