The members of the Kemating Volunteer Fire Department invite you to a three-day festival at the festival grounds from Friday, August 28, through Sunday, August 30, 2026 .

When the floodlights come on again on August 29, the pumps start roaring, and the first groups line up at the starting line, it’s finally that time of year again: The Kemating Fire Department invites you to the Kemating Night Run. What began ten years ago as a special floodlit wet race has long since become a fixture on the calendar, delighting participants every two years with its unique atmosphere, exciting races, and genuine camaraderie. This year, the Nightrun is marked by a special anniversary, as the floodlit water race celebrates its 10th anniversary.

The competition is part of a very special festival weekend: From August 28 to 30, the Kemating Fire Department will celebrate its 125th anniversary with a three-day tent festival. In addition, a vehicle blessing ceremony will be held during this event. Visitors, competition teams, firefighters, and all festival guests can look forward to a weekend full of community, tradition, emotion, and the thrill of competition.
