The Summer Nights 2026 will take place on 22 June, 6 and 20 July and 3 and 17 August in the center of St. Wolfgang.
Summer nights in St. Wolfgang are legendary and a must-see event for music and food lovers far beyond the Salzkammergut region. Once again this year, St. Wolfgang invites you to enjoy culinary delights and captivating rhythms.Accompanied by laid-back music, you can stroll through St. Wolfgang while the aroma of delicious dishes fills the air. The gentle summer breeze from Lake Wolfgang refreshes your skin, and over a cool drink, you can meet up with friends and guests—all of this embodies the St. Wolfgang Summer Nights. The success of this event series is remarkable. The Summer Nights in St. Wolfgang have been taking place for 29 years, and their appeal remains as strong as ever.
Culinary and Musical Delights
Delicacies as far as the eye can see—a total of 16 restaurants, as well as the young farmers and farmwives of St. Wolfgang, participate in the Summer Nights. Angus beef burgers, fresh cream rolls, truffle fries, oysters & champagne, farmer’s Bosna, chanterelle sauce with bread dumplings, Mediterranean scampi skewers, and the popular pulled pork burgers—all of these are sure to delight locals and visitors alike. Things get refreshing at the Uferplatz, where cocktails like mojitos, piña coladas, kids’ cocktails, and more are served. The motto is: Taste, feast, and enjoy. Musically, the summer nights offer a wide variety: Salzkammergut folk music, pop/rock, Dixieland, folk, and brass bands. Confirmed acts this year: Sound Gurus, Jimmy Petterson’s Father & Sons Band, The Helagunkis, A.M.S., Steirer Buam, Harry Ahamer, Markus Marageter, Markus Peitli, Axl Scheutz, Stephan Heiner & Börns Funky Fingers, Atterland Dixie, Austro Brazil Connection – ABC, and many more.
NEW this year: “Machtig Trachtig” is the theme for the last summer night of the season, on August 17!
Summer Nights take place rain or shine
The festival area is fully equipped with uniform, giant umbrellas (4 x 4 meters), which can also serve as large-scale rain protection if needed.
The festival area stretches from Postplatz along Michael-Pacher-Straße and Marktplatz all the way to Uferplatz by the lake.
Five music groups perform each Summer Night, rotating between different performance venues and stages.
The Greinz ferry will once again operate until 10 p.m. during the Summer Nights.
Ratz Boat Tours also offers trips between St. Gilgen and St. Wolfgang—by prior reservation.
The music groups play until 11 p.m., and drinks are served until midnight.
Admission to the Summer Nights is free.
