Holzknechtwallfahrt
The Holzknechtwallfahrt of the Attersee parish will take place on 26.09.2026. The meeting point is at 08:45 am at the boat landing stage, followed by the procession to the church, where the solemn service begins at 09:00 am. Experience a traditional, atmospheric morning full of fellowship and reflection.
Since 1680, the traditional pilgrimage of the lumberjacks to Attersee has taken place every year on the Saturday before Michaelmas.8.45 a.m. meeting point at the landing stage, followed by a procession to the Maria Attersee church and church service at 9 a.m.
