Travelling by public transport:

by train:
from Wels train station take the Almtalbahn (line 153) in the direction of Grünau im Almtal to the Pettenbach stop and continue with the Salzkammergut Shuttle Service Route 70 to Almtal Camp, please call the taxi centre at least 1 hour in advance on 050-422 1691 or order on the otaxi app.

or for very sporty guests: to the Wilfling stop and on foot to Almtal Camp, approx. 2 km walk. Return the same route to Wels, numerous connections from Wels station to the main trains on the Westbahn line to Salzburg or Vienna/Linz (line 101)

Travelling by car:
Coming from Vienna, Salzburg on the A1 motorway to the Voralpenkreuz, then take the A9 / E57 to the Ried im Traunkreis exit/exit and follow our signs: Almtal Camp for approx. 4.5 km

Bike & Hike, travelling by bike:
Coming from Wels or Linz on the R 4 Traunradweg to Wels, then via the R 11 Almtalradweg in the direction of Pettenbach, shortly after Spieldorf turn left at the junction to Jausenstation Weidenhaid and follow to Almtal Camp or Almtal Hotel.

Traunviertel Tour - 2nd stage from Schlierbach to Gmunden or 3rd stage from Gmunden to Bad Hall via the cycle connection from the R 11 Almtalradweg from Almsee via Pettenbach or from the R 13 Traunviertlerradweg to Almtal Camp or Almtal Hotel.
