The "Hochkogel" is one of the most beautiful places in the "Salzkammergut" situated in the "Totes Gebirge" nearby the "Schönberg"-mountain and offers an unforgettable panorama.
The "Hochkogel" house is a place for having a break there, to get pampered or to start many beautiful hiking tours there. You reach the "Hochkogel" cottage from the parking lot "Schwarzenbach" after nearly 3 hours walking. The landlord couple will take care of its guests with food and beverages. For sleeping, the cottage offers 58 mattress sleeping-places.
Using a sleeping bag is necessary!
