The mountain inn Danter of the Höchsmann family is located on the Lichtenberg mountain in Straß im Attergau, in an idyllic location between Attersee and Mondsee. The A1 and the Attersee in Upper Austria are only a few kilometers away. Enjoy your vacation in the Salzkammergut, with a quiet atmosphere far away from noise and hustle and bustle and let us spoil you. Our appartments, which offer space for up to 4 people, are ideal for families with children and small groups. We also offer double and multi bed rooms for your stay.

Vacationing at Berggasthof Danter with the Höchsmann family means sleeping in a quiet and idyllic setting, waking up to panoramic views and being pampered with culinary delights in the in-house restaurant. The Berggasthof Danter has double and multi-bed rooms as well as vacation apartments. All accommodations are equipped with a shower, toilet and satellite TV. For pets there is an extra charge per day. We do not offer pet food.

Hiking and biking trails are directly at our front door!
The Berggasthof Danter am Lichtenberg with its fantastic view is a popular excursion destination in the region Attersee-Attergau and allows its guests a direct access to the hiking and biking trail network of the region. Directly in front of the house is the MTB trail KABONG as well as the starting point for numerous hikes around the Lichtenberg.

The spacious vacation apartment is located in the annex on the 1st floor south-facing and has an east-facing balcony. In one of the two bedrooms there is an additional sofa bed.
The mountain inn Danter is located in the village Lichtenberg am Lichtenberg. It is easily accessible via the asphalt road by car and also by coach. Numerous signposted hiking trails lead to the Lichtenberg. They, and not least the Attergau lookout tower, make the Berggasthof Danter a popular excursion and stopover inn. Enjoy a fantastic distant view! Day off Monday & Tuesday (except holidays).
