The Grundlsee with its natural beach which is many kilometers long is a paradise for swimmers, divers, surfers, yachtsmen, sunbathers and nature lovers. And when you learn about the many hiking trails and mountain tours, the modern riding arena and the cross-country riding possibilities, you might well be surprised that Grundlsee has still kept its natural character.

In winter skaters will enjoy the huge skating area on the lake. Cross-country skiers, skiers and tobogganers can rely on the reliable snow conditions in the Grundlsee area.



Worth visiting are the Grundlsee parish church (1888, neo-Gothic), the Meßkapelle chapel in Gößl (1819/20, its construction was sponsored by the archduke John), the Imperial Stables in Grundlsee with gallery, "Via Artis", an artists' trail with four stations.
