Pinsdorf, in quiet and peaceful location, is conveniently situated in immediate vicinity to Gmunden (picturesque Schloß Orth Castle), right in the heart of Upper Austria´s Salzkammergut region. In 1254 the town was first mentioned in historical documents.
Pinsdorf has a lot to offer, ranging from cultural highlights to truly unique nature treasures. Among them the famous Bauernhügel hill in remembrance of the Pinsdorf battle in November 1626, precious buildings with old façades and the wonderful parish church (Pinsdorf is an independent parish for more than 200 years).

Westbahn track 100 Strecke from Salzburg or Vienna till Attnang-Puchheim - change the train to the rack 170 in direction Gmunden and Stainach-Irdning till railway station Gmunden (not all trains stop at the trainstation Pinsdorf).
