If you also want to use the track, make sure you have the necessary equipment. A sensible mountain bike is just as important as protective equipment (helmet & protectors), which should always be worn. Please follow the instructions directly at the entrance. We wish all recreational athletes lots of fun and, above all, accident-free rides on the new track.
Worth knowing: A pump track, formerly also known as a BMX trail, is usually created as a circuit made of earth or clay and is equipped with numerous waves, such as steep wall curves or jumps. The "bike trail" is about one meter wide. New variations of pump tracks are designed with hard surface materials such as asphalt or concrete. The first pump tracks were built back in the 70s and 80s.
With 300 hours of personal work, the result is now impressive. The municipality also provided support in the form of cost coverage for certain materials and work. Further great support came from Georg Berger-Schauer, who drew up the plan. Karl-Heinz Strauß also provided the basic scaffolding for the ramp with a container.
