The association was founded in 1956 from a large Roith association based in the “Gasthaus zur Linde”. The picture from the founding year shows the members at that time as well as the innkeepers Rosa and Franz Spitzer with their son Karl.
Today's chairman, Friedrich Spitzer, is only the third member of the association's board of directors since the year it was founded (predecessor August Fink and Josef Spitzer). A sign of great continuity.
