More than 100 volunteers are involved in very different areas of service at the St.Georgen im Attergau local branch. Two ambulances (SEW) are available around the clock for emergencies and patient transport. In addition, our ambulance transport vehicle (ATW) supports the ambulance service on weekdays. In addition to the ambulance service, the general practitioner emergency service (HÄND) is also stationed here. It is manned at night and on weekends. In addition to home visits, it also takes care of emergencies in the western part of the Vöcklabruck district.
The visiting service is carried out by about 10 volunteers and gives time and attention to people who are lonely.
Our youngest members of the Youth Red Cross meet once a week for a youth group session, where they have fun and play and also practise first aid.
