Emperor Leopold I grated the house "Mühlwang" the rights of a tavern in 1662
The Mühlwang family owned freehold land in Gmunden. The castle was situated near the Linzerstrasse. In time further buildings were added to it, one of which was a tavern. The rights of a tavern were granted by Emperor Leopold I in 1662. A Tavern was operated in this building until the late 60ies.Please get in touch for more information.
